What we collect

When you place an order: your email address, the quote file(s) you upload (PDF/JPG/PNG), and the review tier and price you selected. Payment is handled directly by Stripe — we do not receive or store your full card number.

How we use it

Your uploaded quote is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for automated analysis, which produces the findings in your report. It is used only to generate your report, not to train models or for any other purpose.
Your email is used to deliver your report link and for order-related support.
Order and payment records are kept for accounting, fraud prevention, and customer support.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers needed to run HVAC Referee: Stripe (payment processing), Anthropic (report generation), and our cloud hosting provider (Cloudflare) for storage and infrastructure. We do not sell your data or share it with HVAC contractors, distributors, or manufacturers.

Retention

Uploaded quotes and generated reports are retained for [RETENTION PERIOD, e.g. 12 months] to support the order and any follow-up questions, then deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time (see Contact below).

Your choices

You can black out your name/address before uploading if you'd rather stay anonymous — we only need the equipment, scope, and pricing details to complete the review. You can request a copy of, or deletion of, your data by contacting us.
